Projects Accomplished: 1.Title: Hospital Management (M.C.A. Final Year Project) Organization : C.V.Health Centre, Korrukupet, Chennai Duration : 6 Months Front End : Visual Basic 6.0 Back End : Oracle 8.0 Description : Objective of this project is to computerize the patient details, doctor and nurse profiles that was done manually. It also helps the users by showing them details about the health improvement of the patient and their date of discharge. In this project Visual Basic is used as Front-End and MS-Access is used as Back-End. To maintain the database of patient, doctor, nurse, maintainance and bill MS-Access is used. Data Reports were used to generate reports. 2.Title: Implementation of a TCP for Persistent Packet Reordering (M.E Project) Duration : Jan 2006 – June 2007 Software tool used : Java, jcap, visual paradigm, jcreator Description : Objective of this project is to implement the TCP for Persistent Packet Reordering using Java. Packet Reordering is unavoidable because of lot of parallelism in the network, network faults, QOS parameters etc. Reordering of packets decreases the TCP performance of a network, mainly because it leads to overestimation of the congestion of the network. TCP-PR, does not rely on duplicate acknowledgments to detect a packet loss. Instead, timers are maintained to keep track of how long ago a packet was transmitted. This project has been simulated in Java under the Windows platform. New formulas for calculating Round Trip Time (RTT) are applied. Self–Employed Projects:
